We believe in giving back to the communities in which we serve. We have a deep commitment to those in need and believe in enriching the lives of those around us. Our efforts cover a wide range of community efforts. From collecting toys and school supplies for kids battling serious challenges to feeding the hungry throughout the state, we are always looking for opportunities to give back.

The Pink Fund Project
National Breast Cancer Awareness Month / October 2020
We partnered with The Pink Fund to provide direct financial support for non-medical cost-of-living expenses to patients in active treatment for Breast Cancer. With this support, they can focus on healing, raising their families, and returning to the workplace. All of our supported practices donated a percentage of revenue from all hygiene appointments in October as well as raise donations on their own. Together, the Smile Partners network raised $7,500 for the Pink Fund!
Thanksgiving Giveaway

Our team once again supported families in need this Thanksgiving. Our patients, families, and community members nominated individuals and families experiencing serious life challenges who could use our help to brighten their holiday. 20 families in need were chosen to receive a gift card, Thanksgiving goodie basket, and a blanket to help make their Thanksgiving brighter.
The Matrix Backpack Project
AUGUST 2019
We were a proud supporter of Matrix Human Services in providing backpacks filled with supplies for the school year. The Matrix has been fighting poverty since 1906, serving the most vulnerable in Detroit with programs to support kids with education, mentoring, and health services. We filled 120 backpacks with everything children in low income families need for their school year including notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, rulers, and more.
Detroit Zoo Walk for Wishes

We participated in the Annual Walk for Wishes to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Michigan. Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children battling critical illnesses. We raised thousands of dollars for this amazing event.
Children’s Hospital of Michigan Comfort Packages
MARCH 2019
Our team prepared and delivered comfort bags for Children’s Hospital of Troy patients. The bags were filled with plush blankets, socks, scarfs, lotions, peppermints, activities and a whole lot of love. Our team graciously donated their time to make a child’s life a little better during a difficult time.
Toys For Tots
DECEMBER 2018
Together with our wonderful patients, we collected hundreds of toys to donate to Toys for Tots. Our hearts were full knowing that we helped to make Christmas a bit merrier for the little ones.
Everyone Deserves a Happy Holiday

We sponsored three families in need to provide them the Thanksgiving of their dreams. We asked patients, families and community members for nominations of individuals and families experiencing serious life challenges. Nominations flowed in for people in need throughout the Detroit Metro area, from those in financial distress to victims of domestic violence, those suffering from serious illness or dealing with the death of a loved one. With the community’s help, three families were able to celebrate a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Hunger Project
OCTOBER 2018
Hunger Heroes from our team joined together with Feeding Children Everywhere to package 15,000 meals to feed hungry children and their families throughout the state of Michigan. With music booming and hairnets flying, an assembly line of amazing volunteers packaged thousands of Red Lentil Jambalaya meals, helping Feeding Children Everywhere come closer to their goal of attaining a hunger-free world.
